Advanced Skiers: What to Look for in a Boot

STIFFNESS- For more advanced skiers, stiffer skis are more beneficial because they allow the skier to have more control. Many skis offer flex adjustment and variable forward lean.
FORWARD LEAN- Advanced skiers usually use boots with medium to extreme forward lean, maximizing control and precision.
ENTRY- Front entry boots, though not as easy to put on, keep the skier standing straight up or leaning forward
ADJUSTMENTS- For advanced skiers, the more adjustments, the better. There are several features that allow the expert skier to adjust his/her boot to fit perfectly every time.

Each company also offers its own special set of adjustments to cater to your needs. (These companies also offer styles specifically for women.) It's best to try them out for yourself (check out our links page), but here's a little bit to get you started...
